The long Nights

Probably most work a ‘normal’ job .. i.e. 40 hours a week, some work more and some work less. I believe that in life we must work to be able to live a comfortable life but unfortunately some of us get trapped in the routine and end up living to work…with no time for themselves or their loved ones… (been there, done that!)

As some of you may know at the moment I am working a 40 hour weekly job and also doing some freelance work as part time (a weekly episode of Determinati, weddings and other small projects) Ohh the joy of working as a freelancer. It has its good and its everything else… the list is endless but just imagine yourself getting at home after 8 hours sitting in front of a computer and instead of enjoying some time off watching a good series with your loved ones you must switch on your computer and start working again…for another 8 hours! (Poor eyes!)

So how do I survive? Oh well.. I don’t 🙂

I must admit that having flexible hours in my full time job helps me a lot (at least I don’t get to work as a zombie) 🙂 On the other hand, I am the most productive at night. Like an owl, when all the world is sleeping I will be wide awake, drinking coffee and working hard, while my eyes will be crying for some time off :(.

How do I manage? The answer is simple…the positive feedback I recieve gives me all the energy I need to face such days. When I see my work being appreciated.. those comments, those messages give me the energy to chase my dream and do what I do best…so please keep them coming!

Till next time,

Thanks for reading 🙂
